Established in 1999, the Western Colorado Golf Foundation is a registered tax exempt 501 (c)(3) non-profit organization dedicated to assisting Western Colorado youth golfers with financial assistance for post-secondary education.

The Foundation achieves this through a variety of fund raising activities and tournaments, including the Rocky Mountain Open, the oldest continuous golf tournament in the State of Colorado, the Alpine Bank/Bookcliff Pro-Am, and the Western Colorado Cup Matches.

Since the Foundation's inception in 1999, we have awarded over 100 scholarships, and have funded in excess of $120,000 in scholarships to help Western Slope junior golfers fulfill their dream of going to college.


Countless volunteer hours are donated to operate the foundation and our various events. in order to return the highest possible percentage of contributions to youth scholarships.  If you love the game of golf as we do, or if you embrace our mission, please join us in supporting the youth golfers of Western Colorado in their quest for higher education.
