Established in 1999, the Western Colorado Golf Foundation is a registered tax exempt 501 (c)(3) non-profit organization dedicated to assisting Western Colorado youth golfers with financial assistance for post-secondary education. The Foundation achieves this through a variety of fund raising activities and tournaments, including the Rocky Mountain Open, the oldest continuous golf tournament in the State of Colorado, the Alpine Bank/Bookcliff Pro-Am, and the Western Colorado Cup Matches. Countless volunteer hours are donated to operate the foundation and our various events. in order to return the highest possible percentage of contributions to youth scholarships. If you love the game of golf as we do, or if you embrace our mission, please join us in supporting the youth golfers of Western Colorado in their quest for higher education.

This year will be the 72nd year for the Rocky Mountain Open® presented by Enstrom Candies. The RMO is the oldest continuously run, open golf tournament in Colorado.
Over 100 PGA Professionals & more than 100 Amateurs are in the field each year. This is a 4 day event. A Pro-Am on Thursday followed by a cocktail party that night for our sponsors and players. In the Professional Division we have an Open Division & a Senior Division. The Amateur Division also has an Open & a Senior Division. There is also a Fourball Division that pairs a Professional & Amateur for a 36 hole tournament within the RMO.
